DeSoto State Park also offers miles of hiking trails, beautiful bluffs and rock formations, a number of small waterfalls.
I59N to Ft. Payne R onto Hwy 35 L onto Gault Ave follow into downtown just past park on the R turn and follow signs up the mtn. At the top turn L and follow signs approx 5miles. Park at General store, trail map in store. Trail head starts across street from entrance to parking lot. The loop ends here to the L but take the R trail head to start.
